July 2014
WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am off sick today!!!! My spotting went right up to 1st July that’s 26 days. Yesterday the spotting started to get heavier and by 3.00pm I was feeling very uncomfortable. To be honest I woke up not feeling right but by 3.00pm it had got pretty bad. That evening it was not showing any signs of easing, to be honest it was getting worse. At 10.00pm I went up to bed feeling really uncomfortable. My lower back, left kidney area and abdominal area were all aching (about a level 6). By the time my husband came up to bed I had still not been able to get comfortable and was on my hands and knees rocking on the bed in agony, this position helps normally but I just could not get comfortable at all.
At 12.40am I took 2 Paracetamol and 2 Ibuprofen fighting the nausea. I went downstairs to heat up Micro-Mike. I stayed downstairs for a while trying to walk it off which also did not work. I made my way back upstairs and so not to disturb my husband I went into the spare room. Why should both of us be tired in the morning?
By 2.00am I was still awake and struggling with the pain which was now hitting an 8 on the pain scale. At some point it must have eased a bit because I did fall asleep but was woken up again at 5.20am in pain again. My alarm was set for 7.00am ready for work (I was due to do a 9.00am until 4.30pm shift). However I was still bent over on my hands and knees on the bed in agony again. During the night my period came, I am on Prostrap injections should not come on my period and then it turns up on day 27 of my cycle. I am not due my next injection until Monday 14th July and it is only Wednesday 2nd July. I am meant to be going swimming at 7.00pm tonight with my sister. I know the swimming should help like it did when we were in Cyprus. I have had a long soak in a warm bath which has helped ease a bit of the pain and I have managed to get down onto the sofa hugging Micro-Mike. I am going to try have a kip and see how I feel later. I hope it eases by tomorrow as we are going to Epsom races and going to see James Blunt in the evening. I have been looking forward to this for such a long time and then my Endometriosis decided to flare up.
The pain is so bad now I have had to take 2 x 30mg Codeine I really did not want to take this because of one tablet makes me drowsy for a day and here I am taking two. Even with taking the 2 Codeine I am still in pain. If we were not going to see James Blunt tomorrow I would probably give in and go to the hospital to get something stronger to give me a break from this pain. I really do not know what else I could do to stop the pain.
I am feeling so out of it at the moment I still did not get much sleep last night but I am awake sort of. We are going to Epsom tonight please start to feel better soon.
Oh wow I am feeling so….. WOW….. We had a great time at Epsom races. I had a winning bet on every race but 2 of them. And then we were in the crowd at the stage waiting for James Blunt when there was a load of screaming and shouting coming from behind us. Thinking that someone was kicking off we turned around to see what was going on to find James Blunt standing next to me. I could not believe it I reached out and touched him. The concert was amazing the way he got the whole crowd involved. He was really amazing and we got to slow dance to our first song ‘Your Beautiful’. I never thought that I would get to see him in concert. The pain was still not good, and I was feeling drowsy from the Codeine. As for the nausea that was something else, but I still had a great day.
Thursday 10th July and I am still on my period as well as in a fair bit of pain. It is still mainly on my left side although 2 days ago it went to my right but has travelled back to my left again. My right pelvis is still very sore. As well as the pain driving me crazy I am feeling so tired all my limbs feel like they have 100 ton weights attached to them.
